Ben Razaghi is an Iranian – American crafter who has been part of ARTE for 5 years. His creative sense inspires interesting designs such as a clock made from recycled cans. With a favorite slogan such as ‘no pain, no gain… no guts, no glory’ it is easy to see why Ben’s business is flourishing.
Working in metal, wood and ceramics, his tools include saws, cutters and drills. Ben prefers to work with high quality material as it translates to higher quality products and ensures longevity. The only outside help that he requires is packaging.
Ben started his business by making clocks, and now creates fun and unique signs for all occasions and home & office spaces. Every new product idea brings so much joy to him that he is not keen on repeating his designs, but strives to find new ones. Ben’s work is very rewarding and says “it is a good feeling that your product makes someone’s life more interesting’, as he sees people smile or giggle at some of his signs.
Ben would like to expand to a broader market, even franchise his work.
When Ben is not working, he enjoys swimming, playing ping pong and watching documentaries while eating his favourite Indian food.
A regular vendor at the ARTE markets, you can find Ben along with his supportive family twice a month in Times Square Center.
